About our Board & Train Program

Throughout your dog’s stay, you’ll receive regular training videos, photos, and report card updates showing what your dog is learning and working on. This keeps you connected to the process and helps you understand the structure and techniques being used so you can stay consistent once your dog goes home. Each update includes custom coaching points tailored specifically to your dog and your household.

On pick-up day, you’ll receive a comprehensive go-home session where we walk you through everything your dog has learned and coach you hands-on to ensure a smooth transition and continued success at home. Your program also includes one private follow-up lesson after your dog returns home, plus ongoing support. You’re always welcome and encouraged to reach out with updates or questions as you continue training journey together!

Dogs are NOT required to be crate/kennel trained if in our board and train program. If your dog is not crate trained we will work on crate training during the training program.

1 Week Touch Up

Returning Clients ONLY
Designed exclusively for past board-and-train clients, this one-week refresher helps get your dog back on track when skills start to slip. Training regression is normal over a dog’s lifetime—this program is a focused reset to reinforce obedience, rebuild reliability around distractions, and tighten up manners and impulse control. Ideal for polishing existing commands, addressing emerging issues, and restoring the structure and consistency your dog already knows.

2 Week B&T

A foundation program for dogs of any age that need clear structure, basic obedience, manners, and loose-leash walking. Over two weeks, we focus on reliable on-leash commands and everyday behavior, with training taking place in the home and in low-distraction public spaces like the neighborhood and local parks (no field trips to stores or restaurants in this program).
This program is leash-based by default. E-collar training can be added for an additional cost for owners who want to begin building off-leash reliability and advanced communication. Training tools are included!

3 Week B&T

Ideal for dogs 6 months and older who have minimal training or only know a few commands. Over three weeks, we build reliable obedience both on and off leash, with training taking place in the home, around the neighborhood, and on field trips to pet-friendly stores and dog-friendly cafés/restaurants to proof skills under real-world distractions. This program focuses on structure, manners, and dependable responsiveness in social environments. Training tools are included!

4 Week B&T

Our most immersive foundation program, ideal for dogs with little to no prior training, high distractibility, or mild reactivity/behavior concerns. This program follows the structure of our 3-week board and train but allows for deeper skill development, stronger obedience, and more reliable focus under heavy distractions. The added time creates more opportunities for repetition, exposure to new environments, and strong habit-building from consistency .
Training takes place in the home, around the neighborhood, and on field trips to pet-friendly stores and restaurant patios to proof behaviors in real-world settings. We focus on structure, manners, and dependable on- and off-leash obedience across a variety of environments and stimuli. Training tools are included!

HYBRID PROGRAMS

This program combines the structure of board and train with the hands-on involvement of day training, making it ideal for owners who want to build strong handling skills alongside their dog. We begin with a short board-and-train stay to establish foundational obedience, structure, and clarity. Once those basics are in place, we transition to a day-train format where your dog is dropped off in the morning for training and picked up in the evening so you can begin applying the work at home right away.

Each Thursday includes a dedicated practice lesson for you to work directly with your trainer and dog. This ensures you’re confident handling the leash, reinforcing commands, and maintaining consistency at home over the weekend. Some of these lessons may take place in real-world “field trip” environments so you can learn how to handle and train your dog through distractions.

This program is designed to strengthen the relationship, communication, and trust between you and your dog—because lasting results come from both ends of the leash working together.

2 Week Hybrid Program

This program blends a short board and train with hands-on day training so you and your dog can build skills together. Your dog will spend the first week here for a brief board and train to establish foundations, structure, and core obedience. At pick-up, you’ll have a lesson to begin practicing your handling and communication skills right away. There will be homework, and consistency at home is essential for success.

The second week transitions into a day-train schedule where your dog is dropped off in the morning and picked up in the evening, Monday–Thursday. Thursday concludes with a private lesson so you can continue building confidence, timing, and clarity with your dog.

This is an on-leash obedience foundations program focused on basic skills, manners, and reliable everyday behavior. Training field trips are not included, as the emphasis is on building strong core skills and communication.

3 Week Hybrid Program

This team-based program blends board and train with hands-on day training so both you and your dog build skills together. Your dog begins with a one week board and train to establish strong foundations and clear structure. At pick-up after that first week, you’ll have a go-home lesson to review what your dog has learned and begin practicing your handling skills before moving into the day-train portion of the program.

For the following two weeks, we transition to a day-train schedule: drop-off in the morning and pick-up in the evening, Monday–Thursday. Training focuses on reliable on- and off-leash obedience, manners, and real-world application. Field trips to pet-friendly locations are included to practice skills under distraction and in social environments. Each Thursday concludes with a private lesson where you’ll work directly with your dog and trainer to continue building handling skills and maintaining progress at home.

There will be homework—consistency outside of sessions is essential for lasting results. This program is designed to create dependable results by training both ends of the leash.

4 Week Hybrid Program

This team-based program is designed for dogs that need stronger reliability, higher levels of obedience, and thorough proofing under distraction. We begin with a two week board and train to establish and strengthen foundations, build clear communication, and develop dependable on- and off-leash skills.

At the end of the two-week board-and-train stay, you’ll have a go-home lesson at pick-up where we review everything your dog has learned and begin coaching you on handling skills and consistency at home.

We then transition into two weeks of day training. Dogs are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the evening, Monday–Thursday. This phase focuses on real-world application, stronger reliability in distracting environments, and continued proofing of commands as your dog works both in training and at home with you.

Each Thursday concludes with a hands-on lesson so you can continue building confidence, communication, and follow-through. This program emphasizes strong on- and off-leash obedience, focus under distraction, and lasting results through teamwork between dog and owner.
